This tour could easily become the highlight of your Thailand holiday. We take you to the reservoir that was created behind the Ratchaprapha dam. We cross the crystal clear green water by longtail boat rugged lime stone cliffs towering on either side. Trekking includes passing through Namtaloo cave (Water Cave). We stay at one of the floating raft houses in tranquil surroundings…

Thai is a 3 day 2 nights amazing tour which includes a room in our resort Khao Sok Jungle Huts for 1 night with breakfast and also a night safari on the first night. The second night will be spent at Cheaow Lan Lake in the Khao Sok National Park.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1:

– 09.00-09.20am. Pick up from the resort one hour drive by local minivan or bus, takes you to Rachaprapha Dam
– Your guide and your boat captain will be waiting for you, on the way the tour guide will make one stop at Ta Khun market where you can take cash from ATM, buy some snacks and necessary things for one night on the take or just for taking a look.

– 10:30 am Take a long-tailed boat to exploring some of the nicest parts of the lake, the boat takes you to Gui Lin of Thailand for sing then go to the float house where you will spend the night. You may check-in and enjoy your first swim into the crystal clear waters of Cheow Lan lake.

After a palatable Thai lunch, we go back to swim, you also can have a nap, use one of the free kayaks to explore the surroundings or just chill out facing the magnificent scenery.

We also will visit the Nam Ta-Lu cave (Water cave). Please note that Water cave is not recommended for children who are not strong swimmers, or people with clastrophobia. In case of impossibility to visit the cave on your part, you can relax and wait for a group in front of the cave before go back to the floating house and enjoy a dinner with local cuisine and stay overnight at our basic raft house.

Please note: The floating house is a simple and basic one, in the heart of nature, suitable for nature lovers. The electric power is available during 18.30-22.30 hours.

Day 2:

After an early wake up and a quick coffee, departure about 06.30 a.m. for a morning safari about 1 hour by boat along the shores, we will take a look at the shores to detect any wild life to observe around: macaques, pig tail macaques, dusky leaf-monkey, gibbons, monitor lizards, horn bills, eagles are the more commonly seen.

Back at the raft house, your breakfast is waiting for you swimming kayaks. After that, check out and put your luggage on the boat. The boat will bring us go to Pra gray pet cave, a lunch box will be served.

Take your time until departure, the long-tail boat take us back to the pier to transfer you to the resort in Khao sok.
